Raquel Kalina Kermisch is a Collage Artist, Jewelry Maker and Owner of The Pretty Eclectic and Love Her Girl. She has kept Art Journals since she was 10 years old and uses a combination of ephemera, paper cutouts, photography, and digital editing into her work. She finds inspiration in the harmonious juxtaposition of nature and modern technology with architecture and everyday life.

When she’s not working, you can find her perusing an antique thrift shop, reading a mystery book or at a concert. A lover of animals, she has 3 cats and 2 dogs, and became a mother of 2 more cats the day she got married. She takes pleasure in the little things like the cold side of the pillow, warm socks straight out of the dryer, familiar scents, a well thought out playlist and handwritten letters. In addition, she enjoys long bike rides, documentaries, traveling, game nights, random trivia, speakeasies, crime podcasts, creating soundtracks to movies that don’t exist, and the macabre.

Headspace Holiday launched in December of 2022, a reincarnation of her personal blog: Head Up in the Trees, which she ran from 2005-2010.

She lives in Los Feliz with her fur babies and lawyer-musician-best-friend-husband.
